Itinerary:

The itinerary below outlines our highlight activities for each day of the Wild Wonderment Retreat. During our nightly briefing, we will also be sharing timing for optional yoga classes and additional activities that you can join the following day if free time allows.

Jan 23rd, 2026:
Arrival in Puerto Natales.
Our local team will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to Hotel Noi Indigo Patagonia, where we’ll be staying for our first night. The retreat will officially begin with a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Jan 24th, 2026:
The journey begins! After breakfast, we’ll have a private transfer followed by boat ride to Refugio Grey, where we will spend one night camping to explore the infamous Grey Glacier the following morning.

Jan 25th, 2026:
Kayaking on the Grey Glacier: Starting at 8:00 AM, this 2.5-hour excursion takes you kayaking around massive floating icebergs towards the glacier's eastern side, offering a closer view of the giant ice wall. After kayaking , we will be transferred to EcoCamp Patagonia, where we’ll spend the rest of our journey immersed in the breathtaking beauty of Torres del Paine National Park. After checking into our Domes, we will have a team dinner and briefing to prepare for the days ahead.

What to wear for Kayaking:

We recommend wearing a base/first layer under your kayaking clothes. Bring a hat plain (without pom pom), gloves, windbreaker jacket, buff or neck warmer, and sunglasses. Bring a change of clothes for after the excursion. Especially socks.

All kayaking equipment is included (double kayaks, wetsuits (sleeveless neoprene wetsuit), paddling jackets, neoprene boots, neoprene leggings, spray skirts, paddles, life jackets, helmets, waterproof bags).

Jan 26th, 2026:
Excursion to Valle Francés: After breakfast, we will be driven to Pudeto Dock, located on the shores of Pehoe Lake. We will board the catamaran that will take us to the north-western sector of the lake, where we will begin the challenging trek to Valle Frances (French Valley) along a steep trail that leads to the very heart of the Paine Massif. We will ascend toward a lookout that will allow us to be amazed at the beauty of the Paine Massif. After our upward trek, we will pause for a picnic and relax a while. This day's adventure will end as we descend through an undula- ting terrain of mixed grassland and light forest, which will take us to Refugio Paine Grande, located on the peaceful shores of Lake Pehoe. From here, we will board the catamaran, which will take us back to Pudeto, where we will be collected and transported back to EcoCamp.

Jan 27th, 2026:
Private excursion with horseback riding at Estancia Laguna Azul: (Note: no prior horse riding experience is required.) Once we’ve enjoyed breakfast at EcoCamp, we’ll head towards the Laguna Azul sector. Once we pass the lagoon, we’ll arrive near the Las Chinas River. There, gentle horses await us to begin a quiet ride, crossing serene rivers twice until we reach an impressive waterfall. Those who prefer not to join the parade have the option of relaxing in the barbecue area or enjoying a short walk with spectacular views of the Torres del Paine, following the banks of the Las Chinas River. We will conclude our adventure with a delicious barbecue that includes options of beef, lamb or hamburgers, always with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free alternatives to satisfy all tastes, before returning to EcoCamp for a well-deserved rest. We will return to EcoCamp for late afternoon restorative yoga before heading to dinner.

Jan 28th, 2026:
Water & Granite Lookouts of Paine: After breakfast, we set off westward by van along the scenic southern edge of Nordenskjold Lake. Our first stop is a stuning overlook, where we admire the diverse landscapes and explore the area's geomorphology, local flora, and fauna. Next, we visit the breathtaking Salto Grande waterfall, where water cascades from Nordenskjold Lake into Pehoe Lake. A short walk takes us to the Cuernos viewpoint, offering a sweeping panorama of the iconic Horns, ideal for observing the flora and their connection to the local wildlife. We then head to Pehoe Lake for lunch at Camping Pehoe, where bird songs create a serene atmosphere. After lunch, we embark on a two-hour trek to El Condor Lookout, ascending through steppe vegetation. At the top, we’re greeted with an expansive view of Pehoe Lake, the Paine River, and, on clear days, the Southern Patagonian ice fields. This awe-inspiring scene, with the towering Paine Mountains in the background, rejuvenates us before we return to EcoCamp by van.

Jan 29th, 2026:
Group hike to the Base Torres: This is one of the most iconic hikes in the area and will be the grand finale of our time together! After a hearty breakfast we set off from Ecocamp towards Hostería Las Torres and join the uphill path to Ascencio Valley on the Tower's eastern face. Dry mountain spots, beech forests and small rivers line the scenic walk towards the valley. Our big challenge comes as we climb the steep moraine, a mass of boulders leading us towards one of the world's most famous views overlooking the Towers. The famous Torres del Paine (2,850 m/ 9,350 ft) consists of three gigantic granite monoliths, the remains of a great cirque sheared away by the forces of glacial ice. After an uphill slog, the Towers eventually come into full view, rising majestically before us, with the glacial lake visible below. Is there any better place in the world to have lunch? After feasting on the view and our picnic, we backtrack along the same trail through Ascencio Valley and return to EcoCamp. We will have our closing dinner & circle to end our time together.

Jan 30th, 2026:
Farewell breakfast & sendoff! Group transfers will be provided from from EcoCamp back to Puerto Natales.
